■Healing music label Della collaborates with weather-related illness prevention app Headache-ru

Della Inc. (Representative Director: Hideo Utsugi, hereinafter referred to as Della), a music label that produces and sells healing music, and BELLSYSTEM24 Inc. (Representative Director, President and CEO: Hiroshi Kajiwara, hereinafter referred to as BELLSYSTEM24), a collaboration between the weather-related illness prevention app "Headache-ru," have released music content to help alleviate illness caused by weather-related illness digitally on various music streaming services, including Apple Music and Spotify, on Monday, September 29, 2025.

This project was launched by the person in charge, who has his own experience with weather-related illness, with the desire to "use the power of music to support people with the same concerns." By combining "live rain sounds" recorded in Yakushima National Park and other locations with the soothing sounds of an alpha wave music box, the project provides healing content that gently comforts those suffering from painful illnesses.

■Background of the collaboration

In recent years, the number of people suffering from "meteorological illness" caused by changes in atmospheric pressure and weather has been increasing.

Della has produced a wide range of healing music for sleep and stress management, but the inspiration for this project was her own heartbreaking experience of suffering from headaches caused by changes in atmospheric pressure. Having been helped by the weather-related headache prevention app "Headache-ru," which she regularly uses, she developed a strong desire to "use the power of music to support people with the same problem."

From there, in conversation with the headache specialist, their mutual thoughts and knowledge came together, leading to the idea of ​​a "combination of sounds that are gentle on meteorological illnesses." This collaboration is a project that was realized from the shared desire and enthusiasm of both parties.

■A mix of rain sounds recorded in a national park and the sounds of an alpha wave music box

The digital single will include four tracks in total, including arrangements of famous pieces such as "Over the Rainbow" and "Clair de Lune (Debussy)" with the tones of an "alpha wave music box" that contains subtle sound fluctuation signals that take cerebral physiology into consideration, with tempos and ranges that harmonize with the sounds of rain, as well as a track containing only the sounds of rain (natural sounds) recorded on-site in Japan's rich national parks. It is a work that can be listened to according to the listener's preferences.

The rain sounds were recorded live at Yakushima National Park and Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park, utilizing field recording techniques, which are part of Della's activities as an official national park partner concluded with the Ministry of the Environment. These sounds were then mixed with the tones of an alpha wave music box, which has been recorded at a slow tempo to promote a sense of calm.

The sound of rain recorded in nature contains 1/f fluctuations (pronounced: efubunnoichiyuragi).

■ Jacket design written by a designer

The jacket design for the digitally released song features an original illustration drawn by Tomoya Annaka, the designer of "Zuuchuu-ru."

As the title suggests, one of the concepts behind this work is "Headache-ru," and the original character "Maro" is depicted relaxing by the window, listening to the sound of the rain and enjoying music.

I myself have suffered from headaches caused by changes in atmospheric pressure for over 10 years, and while I vaguely felt that there was a connection between my poor health and the weather, I was unable to clearly understand the cause. Then, an acquaintance told me about the "Headache-ru" app. Since then, I have used it as a kind of "talisman" to prepare for when symptoms appear and to support my daily health management.

As a member of Della who has been involved in healing music for many years, I naturally felt the desire to "deliver music that can comfort people suffering from weather-related illness," and I felt that Tsuuzutsu-ru's help was essential to making this a reality.

I have always had a strong desire to "deliver healing through music," and I feel great joy that my dream is now coming to fruition.

The theme of this work is "the sound of rain."

Rain and changes in air pressure can make us feel unwell, but on the other hand, the sound of rain has a mysterious power to calm the mind. Even in a phenomenon that is often disliked, I believe there is a hidden element of a "reward" that is close to people.

Della is a long-established company that specializes in recording natural sounds, and has a unique collection of environmental sounds, including recordings in national parks. I hope that by layering the high-quality rain sounds with gentle melodies from music boxes and classical music, I can create music that gently accompanies you in your daily life and creates a time for you to take a deep breath.

The illustrations for the stream were also drawn while listening to this music, with great concentration. I worked to ensure that the entire piece had a unified worldview.

We live in an age where we have to close the windows and only know when it's raining based on the weather forecast.

Even if you don't like rain or changes in air pressure, the sound of rain can be soothing. We hope you will incorporate this natural "reward" into your daily life as music.

■About headaches

"Headache-ru" is a health management app based on barometric pressure forecasts developed and provided by BELLSYSTEM24, Inc., with the aim of meeting the needs of people with weather-related illnesses who want to prepare for and alleviate poor health caused by weather and physical and mental changes. The app combines barometric pressure forecasts provided by the Japan Meteorological Agency with approximately 1.2 million pieces of user health data collected monthly by the app to derive highly accurate weather-related illness forecasts, which are popular with many users.
