A unique collaboration between Sound Wellness Lab (Dela Co., Ltd.) and Tanaka Future Laboratory (Tanaka Precious Metals Group Co., Ltd.) has resulted in a classical arrangement composed entirely of the sounds of precious metals.
"Precious Metal Orchestra - A Journey Through the Sounds of Precious Metals Vol. 1," a musical work featuring the sounds of real precious metals such as gold and platinum, will be available on various music streaming services from June 13, 2025!
Dela Co., Ltd., its sound research lab "Sound Wellness Lab," and the Tanaka Future Research Institute of the Tanaka Precious Metals Group, a group of precious metals experts boasting one of the largest volumes of precious metals handled in Japan, present the first installment of "Precious Metal Orchestra - A Journey Through the Sound of Precious Metals," a musical work featuring the actual sounds of precious metals such as gold and platinum. The work will be released on June 13, 2025, via various music distribution services.
Since the dawn of history, civilization has developed thanks to the benefits of metals. Precious metals in particular have fascinated people and stimulated their imaginations. Similarly, music, a form of art created by humans, is an essential part of any discussion of civilization.
The meeting of these two talents marks the beginning of a journey of precious metal sounds that transcends time and space.
Utilizing the advanced technology of the Tanaka Precious Metals Group, a total of eight luxurious precious metal plates were specially produced, including gold, silver, platinum, palladium, and various alloys. After several months of prototyping and recording, the sound source has finally been released.
The songs included are well-known masterpieces of classical music, such as "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" and "Jupiter." The gorgeous yet somehow sacred and noble tones seem to tell the story of the magnificent history of humanity's coexistence with precious metals. They resonate deeply in the hearts of listeners, bringing healing and passion.
The tracks include solo tracks recorded for each type of precious metal, such as gold and platinum, as well as ensemble tracks that combine them. Experience the unique tones of each precious metal. The ensemble track in Vol. 1 features the theme from Holst's masterpiece "Jupiter." Gold plays the main melody, layered with silver copper and pink gold. Yellow gold plays beautiful arpeggios, while silver accompanies the melody. The gold bass adds a sense of depth.
The music was arranged by Mitsuhiro, a composer who has produced the relaxing music channel on JAL flights and has created numerous soothing music pieces, bringing out the charm of the sound of precious metals to the fullest.
