[NEWS] Research results on "Music for Fatigue Relief" published in an international academic journal!

The research results of the therapeutic CD "Music for Relieving Fatigue," which has proven to have healing and relaxing effects, have been published in an international academic journal!

The results of a research using the music album "Music for Relieving Fatigue" (2015), released by Della Co., Ltd., were published in the international academic journal "Frontiers in Neuroscience" (March 10, 2017), and a press release was made by the joint development group, RIKEN and Osaka City University.

In a press release dated April 27, 2017, RIKEN and Osaka City University, joint development groups, announced that research results using songs from the music album "Music for Relieving Fatigue" (2015), released by Della Co., Ltd. with the aim of reducing fatigue, showed that environmental music can help balance the autonomic nervous system.

This research was published in the Swiss international academic journal Frontiers in Neuroscience on March 10, 2017, and suggests that listening to environmental music reduces fatigue and increases feelings of security and relaxation, and that the patterns of changes in the autonomic nervous system that occur during this process can be predicted by changes in subjective mood, such as fatigue, relaxation, drowsiness, and depression.

Furthermore, by examining changes in subjective mood when listening to music, it is possible to predict the effect of music on each individual's autonomic nervous function, and to create and select music that can balance this function and improve an individual's health.

The following is from the press release for "Music for Relieving Fatigue"

We have released "Music for Relieving Fatigue" from the "Mental Physic Series," a collection of therapy music created from psychological and medical perspectives.

Della Inc. (Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo), a healing label that is gentle on the mind and body, has released "Music for Relieving Fatigue" from its "Mental Physic Series," a collection of therapy music created from psychological and medical perspectives with the theme of fusing the three elements of Mental, Physical, and Music.

This CD was produced under the technical guidance of the RIKEN Center for Life Science Technologies, a national research and development agency, through collaborative research with the Health Science Innovation Center of Osaka City University and the Department of Systems Neuroscience, Graduate School of Medicine, Osaka City University, after undergoing physiological validation tests including mood measurement surveys and autonomic nerve activity.

In the joint research, the fatigue-reducing effect of listening to the CD and not listening to it (silence) was examined on 20 healthy adult monitors using the KOKORO scale, a subjective mood measurement system, and a fatigue assessment system based on autonomic nervous system measurements.

The results showed that listening to this CD was highly effective in reducing subjective fatigue and providing a sense of relief and relaxation.

"Music for Fatigue Relief" is based on the idea that the human mind is most calmed by the sensation of being in contact with nature, and is produced using sounds that evoke the sounds of nature, such as the chirping of birds and the murmuring of a river.

The song is a balanced blend of acoustic instruments such as piano, violin, and harp, along with soft synthesizer tones, creating a song that is pleasing to the ears and soul.

Listen to it during breaks from work, housework, studying, or in the evenings when you want to unwind from the day's fatigue, to reset your mind and recharge your energy for the next day.
