■Concert Report

On November 23 , 2024, the 14th Elizabeth Sanders Home Charity Concert, sponsored by the Mitsui Volunteer Network Corporation, was held for the first time in five years at the Sea View Hall in Oiso Town, Naka District, Kanagawa Prefecture.

On the day, saxophonist Yohei Kobayashi, pianist Shoko Mochiyama, and a seven- piece string section performed, giving us a wonderful performance. Kobayashi has been performing at this charity concert since its seventh edition in 2013 , and said that this concert is an important part of his life's work.

The concert featured a wide variety of songs, including those from Kobayashi's artist album "Umi no Mieru Fukei ~ Seaside Relaxation," as well as unreleased original songs and film soundtracks, all performed on two stages, with talk sessions interspersed throughout. The unique and beautiful sound of the soprano saxophone captivated the audience of approximately 200 people, leaving a lasting impression.

■ Report on donation of part of CD proceeds

We will also be selling Kobayashi's artist album, "Scenery with a View of the Sea - Seaside Relaxation," which is currently on sale at the venue on the day, and we are pleased to announce that 20% of the CD sales, or 13,860 yen, will be donated to Elizabeth Sanders Home.
