Guitarist Hiromu Taguchi has launched his long-awaited new guitar series, "Whispering Guitar"! The first installment, "Whispering Guitar I - A Time For Us / Interstellar," was released today, Thursday, April 4, 2024.

The first track is a cover of classic film themes. Hiromu Taguchi plays "A Time For Us" from the tragic classic Romeo and Juliet, and the main theme from the popular sci-fi film Interstellar, on an 11-string guitar solo. The noble yet dark sound that touches the heart will soothe your soul.

Performer : Hiromu Taguchi
Born in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture, he studied violin from a young age. In his teens, he began playing electric guitar, bass, and drums, performing at local live music venues. In 2002, he enrolled at the International Shinbori Art Academy. Around the same time, he discovered classical guitar and became devoted to the solo style. That same year, he won first place at the All Japan Guitar Competition. The following year, he performed at the JGA Music Festival, drawing rave reviews. While still a student, he joined the professional Shinbori Guitar Ensemble and performed as the soloist in Tedesco's Guitar Concerto with the Shinbori Guitar Philharmonic Orchestra. After graduating, he became the Shinbori Guitar Ensemble's fourth concertmaster, leading to numerous successful international tours in Germany, Austria, South Korea, Singapore, the United States, Italy, and elsewhere. He also served as leader of the band Danrok, turning the band into a hugely popular group that sold out their live shows. He is also active as a composer and arranger, and his music has been performed at numerous events, including the Niibori Guitar Philharmonic Orchestra and Guitaristas Japan. His most notable work, "Jorohana," was reborn as a collaboration of video and music, and has attracted attention as a new work of art. He also trains and mentors the next generation at his alma mater, the International Niibori Art Academy.
