About the "Mindfulness While Lying Down - 3 Minutes of Meditation Music" series

Mindfulness meditation is a modern adaptation of the ancient Indian practice of Vipassana meditation. This series aims to calm the overthinking brain and promote relaxation and recovery by focusing on the body and breathing through music. Meditation can be easily incorporated into your busy daily life, anywhere, and can be used as a tool to bring peace to your daily life. Try it before bed, when you want to calm your mind, or when you want to refresh yourself.

Background of the project

In modern society, we are constantly exposed to stress. If left untreated, stress can develop into health problems such as depression, so taking measures against stress is a very important issue for us to live healthy lives both physically and mentally in the future.
Mindfulness meditation is gaining attention in medical settings as an effective method for maintaining physical and mental health. By focusing on the present and observing the state of your body and mind, you can let go of stress and distractions, making it easier to return to a healthy mind and body. We focused on the relaxing effects of music as a support tool for creating a meditative environment to calm the mind and body.

How to use music effectively

  • The music expresses meditation time by theme. Each song is about three minutes long so that even busy people can easily incorporate meditation into their daily routines. Please add the songs to your own playlist and use them to suit your lifestyle.
  • Listen to this while meditating when you feel stressed, tired, or want to reset your mind.

Music: Mitsuhiro
Graduated from the Department of Composition at Kunitachi College of Music in 1985.
After belonging to the environmental music production group Biosic Music Laboratory, he founded Nagano Music Laboratory in 1991.
While advocating for the enhancement of better sound environments, his life's work is to "arrange," "direct," and "function" the environment with sound. He pursues the connection between nature and music, and expresses his own compositional methods, which were created from that perspective, through his writing activities.

Supervised by Masao Yoshida, Mindfulness meditation instructor and author. Representative director of the Mindfulness Meditation Association, and Chief Mindfulness Officer at Melon Co., Ltd.
He has overseen numerous programs for sports clubs, corporate training programs, and meditation apps such as "Upmind." He also holds training courses to develop mindfulness meditation instructors.
