What is an aroma pot?

Enjoy a blissful relaxing time surrounded by the gentle aroma of aromatherapy that fills the room.
What method do you use to enjoy the aroma of aromatherapy?

Many people add a few drops of aroma oil to a tissue, handkerchief, or a container of hot water. This method is appealing because it is easy to do, but it has drawbacks such as a weak scent and a short-lasting scent.

If you want to enjoy the aroma more fully, we recommend an aroma pot.

An aroma pot is shaped like a jar with a saucer on top, and is used to heat and evaporate aroma oil, allowing you to enjoy the scent.

Another device for enjoying aromatherapy is the aroma diffuser, which disperses oil in mist form.

Types of aroma pots

There are two types of commonly used aroma pots that have different heating methods.

The first type is heated from below with a candle.

This type is easy to use and is the easiest way to enjoy aromatherapy, making it popular with many people, from aromatherapy beginners to veterans.

Another reason for their popularity is the wide variety of designs, from simple designs to ones that can be enjoyed as interior décor.

This type uses candles, so care must be taken when using it, as there is a risk of fire, it should be kept out of reach of children and animals, and it should not be used while sleeping.

The other type is an electric heater, sometimes called an aroma light. This is an aroma pot that can be used while you sleep.

How to use an aroma pot!

Using the aroma pot is very easy!

Let's take a look at how to use the most commonly used candle-type aroma pot.

Fill the tray at the top halfway with water and add aroma oil. Use one to several drops depending on the size of the room.

Then light the candle at the bottom, and after a while the oil will heat up and evaporate, spreading the scent throughout the room.

The important thing here is to always put water in a candle-type aroma pot. There is information that sometimes it is okay to use only oil, but water is absolutely necessary to prevent fires.

Also, be careful not to let the water evaporate while you are burning the aroma.

Electric ones are basically the same, except instead of lighting a candle, you heat it with electricity. Some electric ones can be used without adding water.
