"Bakkun's Dream Seeds" is a musical picture book for mothers and children, created by the powerful collaboration of author Iriyama Satoshi, who created the popular picture book series "Piyo-chan," and Matsumoto Toshiaki, the composer of MISIA's "Everything."
This picture book is filled with warm feelings, with a base of soft pastel and colored pencil strokes, vividly depicting Yume's interactions with cute animals.

The CD included in the set contains a live performance of a new song written specifically for the picture book.
The sounds of the piano, acoustic guitar, and cello will add a wonderful touch to story time. Exposure to the sounds of real instruments from an early age will help develop a rich sense of aesthetics.
*The CD does not contain songs or narration, and the story progression of the picture book is not linked to the music.

-When did you use it?
Most parents used the CD to put their children to sleep at night, but some also played it during nap time, in the evening, and even when it was time to read picture books, regardless of the time of day.
The frequency with which picture books are read varied, with responses including "every night," "about once every two days," "picture book + CD two to three times a week, other picture book + CD once or twice a week," "once a day when putting the child to bed," and "this picture book about two to three times a day."

Also, coincidentally, this time, for everyone, it was their first time to try a "musical picture book" like this one, which comes with a picture book and a music CD to play in the background!

The warm illustrations and heartwarming story made me feel happy.
After reading it for the first time, I repeatedly requested it to be read again and fell asleep peacefully.
Before bedtime, he often whines about feeling lonely, so perhaps a gentle story helped him feel at ease.
thank you very much.
Caho (4-month-old girl, 3-year-old boy)

For the first time in their lives, the twins learned that there is an animal called a tapir.
Do you understand it or not?
Do they think it's a dog? Their interest is piqued, and they all want to see it, turn the page, and there's a scramble for it.

My child had said, "I don't want to sleep because I hate dreams," and I had trouble getting him to sleep, so I was very happy to read this warm and gentle story about dreams (perfect for reading to children).
The illustrations are gentle, cute, warm, and filled with a comforting atmosphere that both my child and I loved.
Children in particular love the atmosphere that makes them feel safe and happy, and they seemed to really enjoy this picture book, which suited their tastes.
HER (5 years and 9 months old)

The part that says "Sweet dreams~" is cute.
The various animals that appear make it fun, and the scenes where the whole family goes to sleep are heartwarming and make you feel like it's time to go to bed.
Melon (1 year 7 months old)

The warm illustrations and storyline left readers with comments such as "It's soothing," "It makes me feel kind," and "It makes me feel at ease."
Even children who originally had a scary image of dreams seemed to be able to enjoy dreams in a different light.

-Which song on Baku-kun's Dream Seeds (CD) is your favorite, or the one that helped you sleep soundly?

HER (5 years and 9 months old) chose the following three songs.

2. Patchwork Hill

3. On the Wind

4. Always together

I play the CD from the beginning because my kids love these few songs and usually fall asleep while they're playing.
I think they like the gentle, calming music and it helps them relax and fall asleep.

Sky (aged 7 months and 5 years) chose the following four songs.

1. Good night

9. Into a Dream

13. Sunny Clouds

14. To the distant sky

The children listened quietly.
I wondered if he was listening intently, and after listening to it over and over again, I began to like it and started playing it regularly.

Furthermore, many mothers felt that the entire song helped them fall asleep.

Rather than playing each song individually, they played them in order from the beginning, and I really liked the overall flow.
Mai (0 years and 7 months old)

What is the appeal of "Musical Picture Books"?

I think it's great because the gentle music and the warm story seem to seep right into your heart.
Caho (4-month-old girl, 3-year-old boy)

He can enjoy just the music or the picture book, but he hasn't shown much reaction to the picture book yet, so I can relax and read to him while listening to the music. (But I also get sleepy...lol)
Mai (0 years and 7 months old)

Readers can become more immersed in the story than if they were just reading a picture book. It's a comfortable experience and they can easily remember the story.
My oldest child, who is five, especially liked the music included, and wanted me to play this CD while reading other picture books as well.
Sky (7 months and 5 years old)
