Junko Yamamoto

The band "Akai Tori" was formed in 1969, won the grand prize at the national Yamaha Light Music Contest, and debuted the following year in 1970 with the single "Jinsei/Akai Hana Shiroi Hana."

After the band disbanded in 1974, he formed Hi-Fi Set and debuted with "Graduation Photo." After leaving behind hits like "Chuo Freeway" and "Feeling," the band disbanded in 1994, and he began his solo career.

"Tsubasa wo Kudasai" became a hot topic during the 1997 FIFA World Cup Asian qualifiers, and the following year she sang the same song at the Nagano Olympics.

In 2009, he celebrated his 40th anniversary in the music industry by releasing the original album "Ongaku ni Koishiteru" through Universal Music and commemorating this with an anniversary concert tour.

In addition to her solo activities, she is also active in a wide range of fields, including the chorus unit "April" and "Song for Memories" with former Off Course member Yasuhiro Suzuki and former Fukinoto member Motoyoshi Hosotsubo. She has also performed in joint concerts with Okinawan folk singer Misako Koja, Shozo Ise, Ami Ozaki, and Iruka.

Cao Xuejing

He is a soloist as an erhu player with the Shanghai Folk Orchestra, and is active in a variety of media, including public concerts and welcoming receptions for state guests, as well as television, radio, and records on China Central People's Radio and Shanghai Radio.

After arriving in Japan, he gave concerts throughout the country, mainly in Tokyo, and at the same time worked in a variety of fields, including performing music for CDs and commercials.

Notable works include performances during the NHK Taiga drama "Hideyoshi," stage performances for the play "Kill" organized by Noda Hideki, performances of the music during Ichikawa Ennosuke's Super Kabuki plays "Kaguya" and "Okuninushi," the theme for Chikushi Tetsuya's "NEWS23," NHK's "Chinese Language Lessons," and appearances and performances on NHK International Radio.

In addition to Chinese folk music, he has also been actively involved in collaborations with musicians from other genres, including participating in the production of Ryuichi Sakamoto's albums and performing with Japanese musicians, classical musicians, jazz musicians, and the Japanese drum troupe Ondekoza.
