The 17th installment of the "Relaxing Jazz Piano" series, which delivers soothing jazz piano solo arrangements of popular songs from Japan and abroad, was released on August 25th as "Relaxing Jazz Piano ~New Generation 2," featuring songs familiar from short videos such as "Idol," the opening theme for the TV anime "Oshi no Ko."

Arrangement and performance: Mikito Nakatani

The arrangement and performance of this work is handled by Mikito Nakatani, who is active in a wide range of fields, mainly recording, TV filming, and concerts. In addition to jazz, he is skilled in a variety of genres, and has arranged all the music for four collections of sheet music published by Kawai Publishing: "Beethoven Meets Pops!", "Burgmüller Meets Pops!", "Saint-Saëns Meets Pops!", and "Bach Meets Pops!". In terms of his own activities, he released the album "Marble" in 2013, which features a variety of songs, including Latin, based on jazz and blues.
