■Music for HSP (Highly Sensitive Person)

"Music for HSP," a low-stimulation, heartwarming ambient music created for HSPs (Highly Sensitive People), was digitally released on Spotify, Apple Music, and other music distribution services on May 15, 2024.

■HSP is said to be common among Japanese people
Numerous books have been published on HSP (Highly Sensitive Person) recently, and the media has been focusing on it. HSPs, sometimes referred to as "sensitive people," are highly sensitive and have a heightened ability to perceive and process information from their senses of hearing, sight, touch, and smell. Due to their national character, it is said that a relatively high percentage of Japanese people fall into this category. HSP is not a "disease" but a "temperament," and they are able to notice subtle changes that others might not notice, offering numerous benefits in work and life. However, the overwhelming amount of information input often leaves people feeling exhausted and at a loss for what to do, leading to feelings of anxiety and low self-esteem. This content features ambient music with soft tones and gradual, minimal variations that are easy to listen to even for those sensitive to sound stimuli. It features beautiful, gentle, and nostalgic melodies that are designed to ease anxiety when listened to.

■The audio from the CD, which was produced to alleviate anxiety and released after its effectiveness was verified, has been rearranged.
This work is a rearrangement of the song "Old Postcard - Bookmark of Memories," which was included on the CD "Music for Anxiety Relief - Oxytocin Activation" released in February 2023.
"Music for Anxiety Relief - Oxytocin Activation" was composed by composer Taku Kikkawa, who is also a music therapy specialist certified by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, under the supervision of Shuzo Kobayashi, director of Shonan Kamakura General Hospital. In an effectiveness test, listening to music reduced cortisol (stress hormone) levels in four out of five participants, and increased oxytocin (love hormone) levels in three out of three participants.
